This is my buyer's agreement and deposit information.

I have some requirements when you purchase a fainting goat from me-

My kids can leave my farm no sooner then 8 weeks of age, exceptions can be  made for bottle babies. Bottle babies must have at least three days on their dams to ensure enough colostrum which is vital to a good start. Please also keep in mind I reserve the right to refuse the sale of a goat to anyone I feel is not fit to own them.

Health care:

Before leaving my farm, all goats are current on shots (CD/T), dewormed, deliced and & hooves trimmed. It is up to you, the buyer, to continue all health care and feed a proper diet to your new goats from me. Kids out of tested dams are not guaranteed to be disease free after they leave my farm because I can't control what kind of animals they are housed with and I can't control the buyer having other disease-free animals or areas. Other animals can carry and pass on diseases to new animals and it can be in the ground as well. There is also no guarantee on negative tested adults after they leave as well. If they have tested negative on my farm, that doesn't mean they can't pick something up at their new home and come up with something six months down the road as a result of disease on the buyer's farm. Adults are all tested before they are sold to prove they where negative at time of purchase. I am not responsible for the goats anymore in any way after they leave my property.

Deposits/Payment - I don't require deposits on kids that aren't born yet. Anyone interested in purchasing a goat from me is required to send a non-refundable 50 % deposit within 7 business days after a verbal confirmation on a particular kid (of course if something where to happen to the kid while in my care you have choice of refund or kid of equal value). If I don't receive a deposit the goat will go back up for sale. Bank and postal money orders are all I accept, and cash is always welcome, I have no problem writing you a receipt. No goat will leave my farm until the goat is paid for in full. Goats marked sold when the deposit is received. I will not hold any goats without a deposit. There will be no exceptions. Just because the goat is still at my farm does not mean it is still for sale. Also, I do accept Paypal. Please email me first to make sure the kid is still for sale. You must also send 2.9% + .30 cents on top of the payment deposit as that is taken from me when money is transferred to me, unless you send it as a gift.

Pick-up/Delivery -Kids that are "sold" will have to be picked up within a reasonable time frame after 8 weeks of age. I can usually meet anyone within a reasonable distance, but my gas and tolls will be the purchasers responsibility. Goats can stay at my farm if transport is difficult for a short time. A small boarding fee may be charged depending on length of stay. New owners must keep in touch with me if problems arise and they are not able to pick up or take the goats when they are scheduled to leave. If arrangements are made and broken, or I do not hear from buyer in reasonable time frame, the kids/goats will once again be mine and any deposit made will be kept. When picking up your goat(s) from me, make sure the carrier/trailer is enclosed and protected from wind and weather. If I feel it will be unsafe for the goats, they will not leave. Kids can easily fit into a medium dog crate (plastic enclosed) and adults into a large or extra large dog crate (plastic enclosed). Contact me if you are not sure what size you need.

Health Certificates -Health certificates and blood testing can be done at the buyers expense. All goats on my farm who are over two years are tested for Johne's, CL, and CAE yearly and I am happy to show the paperwork.

Disbudding- I have decided to start disbudding all of my kids (buck or doe) as I have seen a lot of people who decided not to keep goats as pets due to horns, either getting stuck in fencing, or being too aggressive towards each other. So now unless the kid is polled, all kids will be disbudded as soon as they are old enough, which can vary depending on the size of horns.
However, if you want a horned kid, you must pay the full price in advance. This is not transferable to another kid and non-refundable if you change your mind. Of course if something where to happen to the kid you would have choice of another kid or refund.

Registration - Kids will be registered MGR. I will provide registration certificate, the buyer is responsible for transfer fees. On kids that can be registered with the IFGA or MSFGA, I will provide the paperwork for them, but the buyer is responsible for all registration and transfer fees. The buyer is also responsible for pictures to register the kids. Kids will leave registered in my herd name to prevent dishonest people from putting the kid they bought from me under their herd name.

By purchasing a goat from me you agree to the above even if no paper/contract was signed.
